Born out of Osaka, Japan, Shinko started out producing bicycle tubes and tyres. Through growth and innovation, the leap to producing motorcycle tyres began in 1988 through the acquisition of Yokohama moulds and technology, with this merger the synergy of Japaneses engineering and Korean manufacturing was born based on the principles of exceptional quality control standards and efficient production. Currently Shinko produces 200,000 tyres per month in the motorcycle markets of sport, dual sport, motocross and scooter.
